Redesigned; v2009.1

As you might have noticed, the site went through a few changes today. I’d been playing with a handful of different designs for the last several months, and finally settled on this one just a week ago. A few nights of coding and here we are.

It’s a pretty radical departure from my previous designs, but it’s intended to mark an important change in my style of blogging. From here on out, my posts will focus around technical and game industry topics, and I’m going to try to update more frequently. I won’t promise X posts per week, but I’ll update when it’s appropriate. I’ve also opted for a more Tumblr-like microblogging style, and removed the emphasis on the post titles in the style.

If you’d like to continue reading my movie reviews, MMO thoughts and other such nonsense, check out my other blog Rogue Helix. I’m still tweaking it a bit, so be patient.

Take a look around, and let me know what you think! =)

  1. The theme reminds me a bit of the Braid on Xbox Live aesthetic.

  2. I like it – nice and clean, easy to read. I notice you’ve made post titles on the index page less prominent, interesting choice. I guess that’s to support microblogging more, yes?

  3. I love the way you have done your menus. I think I am gonna steal it xD

  4. If I hadn’t gotten fed up with my 360′s death wish, I’d totally look that up right now. =\

  5. Thanks! Yeah, I’m leaning towards more of a microblogging-format for my posts. It’s always “felt” like a more accessible blogging format to me.
